This position will enable you to forge strong relationships and secure contracts for our extensive logistics services through both direct and indirect sales strategies.
In this role, you will pinpoint opportunities for business expansion and devise strategies to enhance sales performance. We seek an individual who can seamlessly integrate into our team and tackle the diverse challenges of a dynamic environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Cultivate relationships with prospective clients and finalize contracts.
- Manage the complete sales process from initial engagement to successful closure.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline to consistently meet or surpass sales objectives.
- Identify potential clients through various direct methods, including phone calls and in-person meetings, as well as indirect methods like networking.
- Provide accurate forecasts regarding potential sales volumes and outcomes over specified periods.
- Deliver compelling sales presentations and submit detailed reports of activities and results to management.
- Acquire and sustain comprehensive knowledge of the company’s products, services, and operational capabilities.
- Collaborate closely with operational teams to ensure customer satisfaction and service delivery.
- Conduct a specified number of face-to-face sales meetings as directed by management.
- Document sales call information in the designated sales tracking system and generate reports as required.
- Manage a defined number of target accounts, demonstrating consistent engagement and progress towards closing.
- Achieve or exceed the sales quotas established by the company.
- Work collaboratively with other sales and operational personnel to foster a team-oriented selling environment.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management.
- A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, though 10+ years of relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
- A proactive, 'hunter' mentality with a history of successful B2B sales in a commission-based setting.
- Experience in closing sales at the executive level is essential.
- Candidates transitioning from operations, account management, or customer service roles in logistics are encouraged to apply.
- Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, and familiar with web-based applications.
- Ability to create complex, accurate charts, graphs, and presentations.
- Characteristics:
- Self-driven with the ability to work independently and achieve results with minimal supervision.
- Strong sense of urgency and commitment to follow-up.
- Excellent persuasive and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a quick response to sales and service challenges.
