In this capacity, you will pinpoint avenues for business expansion and formulate tactics to enhance company revenue. We seek an individual who can seamlessly integrate into our team and tackle the diverse challenges that arise in a dynamic environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Cultivate relationships with prospective clients and finalize contracts.
- Manage the complete sales process from initial outreach to successful closure.
- Develop and sustain a robust sales pipeline to achieve or surpass sales objectives.
- Identify potential clients through various direct approaches such as calls and in-person meetings, as well as indirect methods like networking.
- Provide accurate forecasts regarding sales potential and volume over specified periods.
- Deliver engaging sales presentations, document opportunities, and report activities and outcomes to management.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of the company's products, services, and operational capabilities.
- Collaborate closely with operational teams to ensure customer satisfaction and needs are met.
- Schedule and execute a set number of face-to-face sales visits as directed by management.
- Record sales call details in the designated sales tracking system and generate reports as required.
- Manage a defined number of target accounts, demonstrating consistent engagement and progress towards closing deals.
- Achieve or exceed sales quotas as established by the organization.
- Work collaboratively with other sales and operational personnel to foster a team-oriented selling environment.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Education and Experience:
- Over 5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management.
- A Bachelor's Degree is preferred, but 10+ years of relevant sales experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
- A proactive, 'hunter' sales mentality.
- Proven B2B sales experience with a history of achieving sales targets in a base plus commission structure.
- Experience in closing sales at the executive level.
- Candidates transitioning from operations, account management, or customer service roles in logistics are also encouraged to apply.
Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (including PowerPoint) and other job-specific software.
- Ability to create complex, accurate charts, graphs, and presentations.

- Excellent persuasive and negotiation skills.
