Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Account Executive to join our team in Washington D.C. and surrounding metropolitan area. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for prospecting and closing sales in our market-leading contextual advertising platform.
Key Responsibilities- Drive revenue growth for Team DC by developing a book of business of $2.2M and driving revenue and new business in the Washington D.C. and surrounding metropolitan area.
- Prospect and grow large to mid-sized agencies across a variety of accounts.
- Upsell current clients in current and new products by providing market insight into display and video offerings.
- Identify and qualify opportunities from marketing-driven leads.
- Cultivate relationships with brands, agency contacts, and clients to gain deep insight into their business and provide GumGum solutions for their marketing and advertising goals.
- Translate client insight to internal product teams to inform product development and improve client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure sold proposals are successfully implemented and aligned with client expectations.
- Bachelor's degree in Media or Marketing/Advertising field.
- 3-4 years of selling experience in digital advertising sales.
- Experience managing a large book of business (3M+).
- Strong selling experience and track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets.
- Political landscape expertise.
- Programmatic experience preferred.
- Strategic relationships across multiple holding companies.
- Proficient in Salesforce.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Results-driven with a track record of meeting and exceeding business development targets.
