Account + Event Manager Job Description

The Company

We are seeking a highly skilled Account + Event Manager to join our team at Kin + Co. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a major conference and incentives agency, delivering meetings, incentives, virtual events, special events, and marketing campaigns for corporate clients and Fortune 500 brands.

The Role

The Account + Event Manager will work closely with the Account + Event Director to manage a range of corporate conferences, meetings, incentives programs, and virtual/hybrid events. This role will support the events team with the day-to-day delivery of all events and programs, managing logistics, client communications, and vendors to bring events to life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and coordinating all aspects of events (live and virtual) and programs from concept through to onsite event delivery
  • Day-to-day client communications
  • Managing project schedules, internal teams, and freelance staff
  • Managing project budgets and timelines to ensure financial profitability and value for clients
  • Contracting and managing vendors/suppliers, including venues, audio visual, and technical staff
  • Managing all aspects of meetings and events (live and virtual): plenary sessions, speakers, videos, presentations, awards, networking, breakout sessions
  • Conducting site inspections and supporting client/sales presentations
  • Researching, evaluating, and working closely with vendors to ensure projects are implemented on time, within scope, and within budget using proven project management and development methodology
  • Providing support to clients and ensuring their expectations are met

Requirements:

  • 7-10 years of experience in conference and incentive agency management, preferably as an Event Manager
  • Experience working with corporate and Fortune 500 brands
  • Project management experience across the spectrum of corporate summits, conferences, meetings, tradeshows, incentives, live productions, and virtual events
  • Experience delivering virtual events
  • Proven experience working with multiple clients and projects simultaneously
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong client focus with attention to detail, flexibility, and accountability for results
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A passion for events and drive to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure agency environment
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Proven experience managing event production budgets
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
  • Flexible, dependable, detail-oriented, innovative, motivated, and enthusiastic about delivering exceptional events
  • A thorough understanding of permitting standards and procurement
  • Strong desire to work with a fun, creative, and entrepreneurial team in a fast-paced agency environment

What We Offer:

  • Anticipated base salary range: $100,000 - $115,000 + benefits annually, dependent on experience
