Stengel Hill Architecture Incorporated is in search of a dedicated full-time Senior Architectural Project Leader with over 5 years of experience managing a diverse range of projects, including both new developments and renovation initiatives.

Role Summary

The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional communication, design, technical, and organizational abilities, and will be proficient in all stages of design and construction. While experience in the healthcare sector is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaboratively execute design and building performance strategies that align with project objectives.
  • Actively engage in project team meetings to foster collaboration.
  • Oversee design and technical development, ensuring project coordination and quality assurance across all project dimensions.
  • Work closely with consultants to guarantee integrated project documentation that supports the overall design.
  • Contribute to the creation of high-quality design documents, including detailed construction documents that meet project scope, schedule, and budget requirements.
  • Conduct construction administration tasks, such as reviewing shop drawings, product data, and material samples for compliance with design intent.
  • Respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) and review pay applications and change orders.
  • Coordinate and delegate tasks and objectives among the architectural technical team.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with clients, consultants, and contractors throughout all project phases.
  • Participate in marketing initiatives and client presentations as necessary.
  • Engage in business development activities, including networking and fostering professional relationships.
  • Mentor and guide project team members to support their professional growth within the firm.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture with AIA or State License.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in architecture and project management.
  • Comprehensive understanding of architectural practices and workflows.
  • Familiarity with building components, construction materials, standards, and codes.
  • Preferred knowledge in business management.
  • Experience in construction administration or a solid understanding of construction practices.
  • Healthcare design experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in REVIT and AutoCAD software is preferred.
