The successful candidate will contribute to equipping the Special Operations Forces community with advanced systems and equipment, ensuring operational effectiveness for service members globally.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with chief engineers and project teams to ensure system designs meet customer specifications and operational requirements.
- Analyze customer needs to define electrical project scopes and contribute to comprehensive engineering solutions.
- Lead the electrical design team through the development of schematics, cable routing, and the integration of new systems.
- Oversee the evaluation and approval of engineering changes and releases.
- Maintain a detail-oriented approach while managing multiple tasks effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an ABET-accredited program.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and PLM systems.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with customers and suppliers.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Projects.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical and other design software.
- Understanding of system architecture and RF systems.
- Knowledge of printed circuit board design and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with unmanned systems and vehicle electronic systems.
- Familiarity with DOD acquisition processes and military vehicle platforms.
This position requires a government security clearance; candidates must be U.S. citizens.
