Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Architect to join our team at 2H Talent. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and executing project design, building code compliance, and technical quality of project documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the design process from conceptual phase to construction administration, ensuring design intent is incorporated into detailed documentation.
  • Monitor and coordinate the work of junior professionals and technicians, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Develop and implement project specifications, working closely with the project specification writer.
  • Plan and develop projects of various sizes, working under supervision and receiving guidance on complex issues.
  • Investigate, evaluate, and recommend design solutions, prioritizing work and communicating needs and concerns to project staff.
  • Participate in cross-discipline discussions and coordination with multidisciplinary teammates, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Participate in construction administration, reviewing shop drawings and submittals, responding to RFIs, and working to solve construction issues.
  • Assist with marketing and business development activities, promoting the company's services and expertise.
  • Travel for project-related activities may be required, with a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited college or university.
  • Architecture license preferred.
  • Well-rounded diverse candidate with a variety of multifamily or higher education projects experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft and other industry-standard software.
  • Advanced knowledge of building design and construction means, methods, and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, including time management, delegation, prioritization, and multitasking.
  • A good work ethic and strict adherence to safe work practices.
