Senior Mining Project Coordinator

The Senior Mining Project Coordinator will oversee various facets of enhancing mining operations, encompassing exploration, planning, and production.
The Coordinator will also be instrumental in guiding junior engineers, overseeing projects, and engaging in business development efforts, which include recognizing new prospects, nurturing strategic alliances, and contributing to the organization's long-term viability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Development of project proposals
• Oversight of budgets and timelines
• Mentorship of junior staff
• Cultivation of client relationships
• Driving business expansion
• Integration within a multidisciplinary engineering team
Qualifications:
• A bachelor's or master's degree in geology, mining, geological, or civil engineering; an advanced degree in business administration is advantageous
• At least 8 years of experience in the mining sector, including aggregates, crushed stone, sand and gravel, and cement industries
• A registered professional engineer or geologist license, or the ability to obtain one upon hire
• Minimum of 5 years in project management roles
• Proven leadership and team management skills
• Experience in technical report writing
• Knowledge of resource and reserve assessment under U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's S-K 1300 regulation
Extensive familiarity with commercial mining engineering software (e.g., Surpac, Vulcan, Carlson, Minesched, and GIS) and programming skills (e.g., TCL, Lisp, Visual Basic, and other programming languages) are preferred.
Compensation:
Salary is commensurate with experience and expertise, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package.
