About the Position

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Kleinschmidt Group as a Senior Project Manager, where you will play a key role in the design and management of hydroelectric, water resource, and fisheries-related projects. As a seasoned professional with a strong background in engineering and project management, you will be responsible for leading multidisciplinary teams and delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and meeting client expectations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure efficient use of company resources.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, regulatory, and science services, to deliver projects that meet client needs.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
  • Develop and implement project management plans, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in civil, structural, geotechnical, or mechanical engineering related to the design of hydroelectric, fish passage, dam safety, or water resource projects.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong knowledge of standards and codes applicable to the candidate's engineering discipline.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex engineering problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in the field with clients, contractors, and vendors during planning and construction of projects.
  • Knowledge of Vantagepoint is a plus.
  • Experience as a consultant is preferred.
