Job Summary

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for leading large-scale multidisciplinary projects, managing project teams, and coordinating with multiple disciplines. This role involves working on hydroelectric, water resource, and fisheries projects, with a focus on projects and clients within the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead project teams and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources
  • Develop and implement project plans, including project scope, timelines, and budgets
  • Coordinate with multiple disciplines, including engineering, construction, and environmental teams
  • Manage client relationships and communicate project progress and results
  • Mentor junior staff and provide guidance on project management best practices

Requirements

  • Must be a Licensed Professional Engineer with a minimum of 10 years' experience in civil, structural, geotechnical, or mechanical engineering related to hydroelectric, fish passage, dam safety, or water resource projects
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in project management and client coordination
  • Knowledge of engineering standards and codes
  • Experience managing project teams and coordinating with multiple disciplines
  • Passion for mentoring junior staff and building client relationships

Physical Requirements

The role may involve site visits with exposure to various conditions, including climbing ladders and working in outside weather conditions. Physical abilities such as lifting and moving objects may be required.
