About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced On-Site Service Team Lead to join our team at Edwards Vacuum, a leading developer and manufacturer of sophisticated vacuum products and exhaust management systems. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for leading and directing daily operational activities, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring the highest level of quality and efficiency in our service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Direction: Direct and supervise the daily operational activities of the service team, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard and that the team is working efficiently and effectively.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, acting as a single point of contact for all Installation Qualification related issues and ensuring that customer needs are met and exceeded.
  • Procedure Development and Maintenance: Establish and audit local operating procedures to provide a training aid and reference source for Edwards and customer personnel, ensuring that all procedures are up-to-date and compliant with industry standards.
  • Special Projects: Perform special projects at customer sites with supervision as needed from senior technical experts or project management, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and to the highest standard.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed using local databases, develop and maintain a preventive maintenance schedule for equipment, and submit regular reports to Edwards technical department to drive equipment improvements.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with Site Lead and Site Manager to ensure 7x24 escalation support for site teams, maintain punctual, regular, and predictable attendance, and work collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: AS degree or equivalent in a relevant technical field, or 4+ years' related technical experience, including completion of relevant training and competencies profiles defined within the training plan for the current position.
  • Industry Experience: 5+ years' related industry experience, including electronic, mechanical, chemical, or gas experience in the Semiconductor industry.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Strong proven leadership skills, excellent organization, prioritizing, multi-tasking, and customer service skills.
