Key Responsibilities

Position Description

This role encompasses operational tasks in various areas, including:

  • Operating high-capacity duplicating machinery and performing related copying tasks.
  • Managing high-volume document imaging equipment and associated software.
  • Handling extensive mail management systems.

Responsibilities also include generating reports for digital printing, imaging, and mail systems in a digital format, along with shipping and receiving products and supplies.

Additional duties involve sorting, distributing, and managing incoming and outgoing mail and faxes, as well as applying necessary postage.

Maintenance and repair of on-site equipment are also part of the role, along with potential involvement in bindery, quality control, and various administrative tasks.

Note: Due to the advanced presentation and communication skills required for certain duties, employees in this capacity are classified as Senior On-Site Services Specialists.

This position reports directly to the Site Manager, Site Supervisor, or Assistant Site Manager, depending on the personnel structure.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

  • Operating high-volume copy machines and performing finishing work.
  • Managing document imaging systems and related software.
  • Utilizing MS Office and email systems for file management.
  • Ensuring the functionality of convenience copiers through daily inspections.
  • Maintaining records for management reports and inventory of supplies.
  • Coordinating service calls and responding to customer inquiries.
  • Performing duties related to shipping and receiving materials.
  • Setting up meeting and conference rooms as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

Education and Experience

A high school diploma or GED is required, along with 1-2 years of relevant experience or equivalent qualifications in a related field. Experience in copy services is preferred.

A valid driver's license and minimum auto insurance coverage may be required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Essential skills include:

  • Excellent customer service capabilities.
  • Proficient PC skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Mathematical and filing skills.
  • Ability to operate office machinery and technical equipment.

Working Conditions

The position typically operates in an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation. Some physical effort is required, including prolonged periods of standing, walking, and lifting items weighing up to 50-55 lbs.

Moderate dexterity is necessary for regular use of basic skills such as operating office equipment and tools.
