Defensive Operations Growth Director

The Space Force Client Relationship Executive at Guidehouse plays a pivotal role in driving sales and growth within the US Department of Defense, specifically focusing on the Space Force initiative.
This strategic position involves building long-term client relationships, identifying business opportunities, and developing comprehensive solutions to meet the evolving needs of clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading marketing strategies, supporting account strategy and planning, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive new work and solve complex challenges.
Sales Responsibilities
- Competitive Opportunities: Identify RFPs, conduct research and analysis, qualify opportunities, develop capture strategies, build client relationships, lead win strategies, and collaborate with teams to create winning proposals.
- Demand Generation: Develop campaigns, call plans, identify prospective clients, understand their challenges, match them to service capabilities, develop solutions, white papers, and secure consulting engagements.
- Sales Leadership: Manage a pipeline of opportunities across the full lifecycle to achieve sales goals.
- Marketing: Lead marketing strategy including events, associations, digital marketing, thought leadership, and advertising.
- Strategy and Planning: Support account strategy and planning through market and client analysis, capability analysis, engagement strategies, and action plans.
Salary
$124,000 - $175,000 per year, depending on experience
Requirements
- An active and maintained Secret Federal or DoD security clearance.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Seven (7) or more years' experience working within the Federal Government market.
- Strong passion for client success, bias for action, and a strong work ethic.
- Proven success selling management consulting and/or technology to US Space Force.
- Bring client and teaming partner relationships and experience within the US Air Force/Space Force while successfully driving sales at a similar management consulting or technology firm.
