Key Responsibilities:


As a Sales Support Specialist, your primary role will involve assisting incoming inquiries from financial advisors nationwide regarding our annuity and life insurance offerings, designed to help clients safeguard their assets and ensure their longevity.

The objective of each interaction will be to foster a positive experience for advisors, enhancing our relationships and expanding sales opportunities for our distribution teams.


In this position, you will:
Continuously enhance your understanding of Brighthouse Financial's Annuity & Life product offerings, systems, and operational processes.
Handle and document incoming calls, providing sales assistance and guidance to financial advisors regarding our solutions.
Facilitate business submissions by comprehending licensing, training, firm, state, and application prerequisites.
Identify advisor needs on various issues, conduct research, and resolve requests, engaging other distribution partners as necessary to ensure complete resolution.
Provide product illustrations and leverage marketing resources to further engage advisors.
Recognize sales opportunities during incoming calls and refer them to Internal Wholesalers.
Collaborate with your manager to identify areas for personal development and growth.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a coachable, energetic demeanor and a positive outlook.
Self-driven, competitive, and motivated to achieve goals in a dynamic environment.
Aptitude for building and maintaining professional relationships, with a strong inclination towards sales.
Excellent organizational skills, adaptability, and the ability to multitask effectively.

If not fully licensed, you will be expected to obtain the FINRA SIE, Series 6 or 7, and 63, along with a state Life Insurance license with variable line of authority in your resident state.

Compensation and Benefits:


Salary – The base salary is $45, and upon full licensure, you will be eligible for a competitive monthly variable sales incentive based on performance.
