As a Sales Support Specialist, your primary role will involve assisting incoming inquiries from financial advisors nationwide regarding our annuity and life insurance offerings, designed to help clients safeguard their assets and ensure longevity.

The aim of each interaction will be to foster a positive experience for advisors, enhancing our relationships and cultivating sales opportunities for our distribution teams.


In this position, you will:
Continuously enhance your understanding of Brighthouse Financial's Annuity & Life product lines, systems, and procedures.
Manage and document inbound communications, providing sales assistance and positioning for financial advisors regarding our offerings.
Facilitate business submissions by comprehending licensing, training, firm, state, and application prerequisites.
Identify advisor needs, investigate, and resolve inquiries. Engage other distribution partners as necessary to address issues and maintain accountability until resolution.
Deliver product illustrations and leverage marketing resources to further engage advisors.
Spot sales opportunities during incoming interactions and refer to Internal Wholesalers.
Collaborate with management to identify areas for personal development and growth.
Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree is preferred.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a coachable, energetic demeanor and a positive outlook.
Self-driven, competitive, and motivated to achieve goals in a dynamic environment.
Aptitude for building and sustaining professional relationships, with a strong inclination towards sales.
Organizational capabilities, adaptability, and the ability to multitask effectively.

If not fully licensed, candidates will be expected to obtain the FINRA SIE, Series 6 or 7, and 63, along with a state Life Insurance license with variable line of authority in their resident state.

Compensation – Base salary is $45, and upon full licensure, this individual will qualify for a competitive monthly variable sales incentive based on performance.
