Role of the Retail Technology Support Specialist

  • Perform in-depth data trend analysis to enhance system performance.
  • Formulate strategies for system enhancements.
  • Oversee the implementation and testing of POS software and hardware.
  • Develop tools and processes to optimize deployments and support.
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings to outline deployment requirements and schedules.
  • Thoroughly document technical infrastructure.
  • Manage reporting on system performance.
  • Effectively address support, deployment, and system challenges.
  • Provide technical assistance and generate user documentation.
  • Execute installations of POS software and hardware.
Essential Qualifications
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Capability to manage pressure and urgency effectively.
  • Outstanding customer service skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficient in building interpersonal relationships and team collaboration.
  • Self-driven and capable of working independently.
  • Flexibility to work non-traditional hours and travel on short notice.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Background in computer science or related disciplines.
  • Experience in POS or IT environments.
  • Familiarity with service management processes.
  • Understanding of Windows Server administration and basic networking.
  • Knowledge of warehouse and fuel system applications.

Compensation:
Level 1- $40.87
