Job Summary

Morgan Lewis, a leading global law firm, is seeking a skilled Technology Support Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our desktop and laptop computer systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for end-users and clients on technology-related issues and questions.
  • Support the business needs of our attorneys, practice groups, and administrative departments by recommending appropriate applications and technologies.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our firm's applications and systems, including Microsoft Office and other productivity software.
  • Perform Level 2 support for practice-group-specific hardware and software, including software installations and upgrades.
  • Collaborate with our IT team to resolve complex technical issues and provide creative solutions to end-users.
  • Communicate effectively with end-users, attorneys, and staff to understand their technology needs and provide timely support.
  • Participate in software pre-pilots, pilots, and roll-outs, and provide technical documentation and support as needed.
  • Develop and maintain technical articles and knowledge base entries on identified issues, resolutions, and workarounds.
  • Provide status reports and communicate with our manager to ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
  • Perform detailed problem analysis and document issues and resolutions related to software or network issues.
  • Collaborate with our Level 3 software and hardware engineers to escalate complex technical issues.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of our firm's technology infrastructure, including servers, applications, and network hardware.
  • Deploy and support office telephone equipment and troubleshoot telephone issues.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree (A.A) in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience in hardware and software support at a professional-services organization, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, written and verbal communication, and ability to adapt to change and balance competing demands.
  • Advanced arithmetic skills and ability to read and interpret general business documents, instructions, and manuals.
  • Ability to solve practical problems dealing with a variety of variables where little standardization may exist.
  • Microsoft Office Certification and/or A+ Certification are preferred.
