Role Overview:
We are in search of a meticulous and proactive Technology Procurement Specialist to become a vital part of our dynamic team.

In this capacity, you will oversee numerous facets of the technology procurement lifecycle, from sourcing to contract finalization.

Your collaboration with internal stakeholders and external suppliers will be crucial in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective acquisition of technology hardware, software, and services.


The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving abilities, exceptional communication skills, and a solid understanding of technology, along with the capability to juggle multiple projects concurrently.

This role presents an opportunity to significantly influence our organization’s technology framework and contribute to our overarching business goals.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate technology procurement processes, including document assessment, approval workflows, and purchase order management.
  • Foster vendor relationships and collaborate with internal business units.
  • Draft contractual documents as required (e.g., amendments).
  • Assist in the sourcing process from proposal preparation to contract finalization.
  • Provide support and solutions for the team and stakeholders.
  • Lead and engage in process evaluations and enhancements for sourcing and procurement.
  • Examine contract files to verify documentation accuracy and completeness.
  • Develop and oversee IT sourcing project timelines and lead meetings as necessary.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in technology sourcing or procurement.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Experience in creating and managing Technology RFPs or sourcing initiatives.
  • Thorough understanding of best practices in procurement processes.
  • Familiarity with contract terms and conditions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, adhere to tight deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team-oriented with the capacity to work independently.
  • Excellent customer service and support skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Legal knowledge, especially in interpreting complex Master Agreements and Service Schedules.
  • Experience with SaaS, Cloud, software licensing, hardware maintenance, MNDA, MSA & SOW contracts.
  • Background in the technology sector or with a tech-focused organization.

Education:
Bachelor's Degree preferred
