Job Title: R&D Materials Scientist

At Entegris, we're seeking a highly skilled R&D Materials Scientist to join our team in Franklin, MA. This individual will play a crucial role in developing new adsorption/separation/removal technologies and materials, providing filtration/separation solutions for technology-driven industries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop filtration/separation/catalytic-driven solutions based on knowledge of membranes, polymers, gas-solid mass transfer, single and multi-component adsorption, and kinetics.
  • Conduct complex scientific investigations to support conclusions and analyze data to prepare progress reports and present results.
  • Lead product/process development efforts for new media and serve as an internal consultant to other parts of the organization in the area of expertise.
Requirements:
  • M.S. degree in materials science & engineering, chemical or environmental engineering, or a related discipline with preferred relevant experience of 5+ years.
  • Experience with materials, polymers, adsorption, molecular separations, and a proven track record of research and identifying solutions for targeted product development.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, outstanding communication and documentation skills in oral and written English, and a desire to be an important contributor to a cross-functional development team.
