We are seeking a Materials Research Scientist to contribute to our innovative efforts. This role involves the research and development of advanced adsorption, separation, and removal technologies and materials aimed at providing filtration and separation solutions for the effective capture and elimination of low-concentration gas-phase chemical contaminants in technology-focused industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop filtration, separation, and catalytic solutions leveraging expertise in membranes, polymers, gas-solid mass transfer, and adsorption kinetics. Conduct complex scientific investigations to support findings, including the design and fabrication of experimental fixtures and specialized equipment as necessary.
  • Design and execute experiments with thorough analysis of outcomes.
  • Conduct literature and patent research to generate development ideas.
  • Analyze data, prepare progress reports, and present findings.
  • Lead product and process development initiatives for new media.
  • Serve as an internal consultant in your area of expertise across the organization.

Qualifications:

  • M.S. degree in materials science & engineering, chemical or environmental engineering, or a related field with a preferred experience of 5+ years, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of materials, polymers, adsorption, and molecular separations.
  • Demonstrated success in research and solution identification for targeted product development.
  • Ability to evaluate materials and their performance using experimental techniques.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written, with a commitment to contributing to a cross-functional development team.
  • Proven ability to set ambitious goals and achieve results, alongside excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation and excellence.
  • Experience in semiconductor industry applications is preferred but not mandatory.
