Reports To: Production Manager

Location: Franklin, MA

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Position Summary:

The Laboratory Technician plays a vital role in supporting various laboratory operations. This position offers opportunities to engage in tasks related to bottling, inventory management, safety protocols, and other essential laboratory functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the filling and packaging processes, including the operation of automated machinery.
  • Ensure accurate and detailed labeling of all products.
  • Collaborate with Scientists and Technicians to carry out routine laboratory tasks and maintenance activities.
  • Participate in the cleaning and upkeep of reusable materials and instruments.
  • Conduct periodic inventory assessments of packaging supplies and replacement components.
  • Learn and apply proper handling techniques for hazardous materials, including Acids and Bases.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of accurate production records, inspection logs, and temperature monitoring.
  • Adhere to the onsite safety program and promptly report any safety concerns to the supervisor.
  • Support the development and enhancement of the Antylia Quality Management System.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, which may involve cross-functional collaboration.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a degree in Life Sciences or possessing equivalent industry experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to assist the team in executing various projects and assignments effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Capability to stand for extended periods and lift supplies weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment while managing pressure and deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear and concise interactions at all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic and adaptability within a rapidly evolving organization.
