Reports To: Production Manager

Location: Franklin, MA

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Position Summary:

The Laboratory Technician plays a vital role in supporting various laboratory functions. This position provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in areas such as bottling, inventory management, safety protocols, and other essential laboratory operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the filling and packaging processes, which may involve the use of automated machinery.
  • Ensure accurate and detailed labeling of all products.
  • Collaborate with Scientists and Technicians to execute routine laboratory tasks and upkeep.
  • Participate in the cleaning and maintenance of reusable materials and laboratory instruments.
  • Conduct periodic inventory assessments of packaging supplies and replacement components.
  • Learn and apply proper handling techniques for hazardous materials, including Acids and Bases.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of accurate production records, inspection logs, and temperature monitoring.
  • Adhere to the onsite safety program and promptly report any safety concerns to the supervisor.
  • Support the development and enhancement of the Antylia Quality Management System.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, including cross-functional tasks within the facility.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a degree in Life Sciences or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to assist the team in executing diverse projects and assignments.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Capable of standing for extended periods and lifting materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment, effectively managing pressure and deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear interaction across all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrates a strong work ethic and adaptability in a rapidly evolving organization.
