FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Position Summary:
The Laboratory Technician plays a vital role in supporting various laboratory functions. This position provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in areas such as bottling, inventory management, safety protocols, and other essential laboratory operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the filling and packaging processes, which may involve the use of automated machinery.
- Ensure accurate and detailed labeling of all products.
- Collaborate with Scientists and Technicians to execute routine laboratory tasks and upkeep.
- Participate in the cleaning and maintenance of reusable materials and laboratory instruments.
- Conduct periodic inventory assessments of packaging supplies and replacement components.
- Learn and apply proper handling techniques for hazardous materials, including Acids and Bases.
- Contribute to the maintenance of accurate production records, inspection logs, and temperature monitoring.
- Adhere to the onsite safety program and promptly report any safety concerns to the supervisor.
- Support the development and enhancement of the Antylia Quality Management System.
- Perform additional duties as assigned, including cross-functional tasks within the facility.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree in Life Sciences or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to assist the team in executing diverse projects and assignments.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Capable of standing for extended periods and lifting materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment, effectively managing pressure and deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear interaction across all organizational levels.
- Demonstrates a strong work ethic and adaptability in a rapidly evolving organization.
