Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute experiments to develop filtration/separation/catalytic-driven solutions based on knowledge of membranes, polymers, gas-solid mass transfer, single and multi-component adsorption and/or kinetics.
  • Conduct complex and independent scientific investigations to support conclusions and analyze data to prepare progress reports and present results.
  • Lead product/process development efforts for new media and serve as an internal consultant to other parts of the organization in the area of expertise.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional development teams to drive innovation and excellence in research and development.

Requirements:

  • M.S. degree in materials science & engineering, chemical or environmental engineering or a related discipline with preferred relevant experience of 5+ years, or equivalent combination of degree and experience.
  • Experience with and/or knowledge of materials, polymers, adsorption, molecular separations, etc.
  • Proven track record of research and identifying solutions for targeted product development.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and outstanding communication and documentation skills in oral and written English.
  • Ability to aggressively set goals and achieve results, with excellent problem-solving skills, analytical mindset, and passion for innovation, invention, and excellence.
