Role Summary:
This high-level executive role entails comprehensive oversight of practice operations, aligning with the strategic objectives, mission, vision, and values of the organization. The CEO will provide leadership across all operational facets, including staffing, scheduling, and administrative functions. This position is integral to the senior leadership team and will report directly to the President.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directly supervise various levels of physician practice personnel.
  • Ensure profitability targets are met and adjusted as necessary.
  • Assist in recruiting team members to meet patient and market demands.
  • Provide clear and concise direction to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with practice management policies and procedures.
  • Maximize operational efficiency through a culture of excellence.
  • Oversee budgeting and scheduling to align with organizational requirements.
  • Maintain the integrity of both administrative and clinical processes.
  • Drive accountability among team members for adherence to policies.
  • Lead initiatives to achieve key performance indicators and enhance patient satisfaction.
  • Establish internal controls for compliance and develop monitoring tools.

Leadership & Team Development:

  • Engage with executive management and corporate leaders on critical matters.
  • Collaborate with HR to attract and retain top talent.
  • Work with employees to create development plans for succession and leadership advancement.

Strategic Planning & Business Growth:

  • Provide strategic direction through effective communication of the organization’s mission and values.
  • Represent the organization to external stakeholders.
  • Support new business development initiatives as required.
  • Build and enhance relationships with key physician leaders.
  • Identify core issues and provide strategic direction based on comprehensive assessments.

Industry Knowledge & Professional Development:

  • Demonstrate understanding of healthcare economics and its impact on practices.
  • Stay informed on advancements affecting practice management.
  • Engage in professional growth through seminars and workshops.
  • Possess broad industry knowledge to address business line concerns.

Qualifications:

  • At least fifteen (15) years of senior-level experience in managing physician practice operations.
  • Experience leading multi-specialty physician group practices.
  • Proven track record in growing and optimizing physician-led organizations.
  • Experience in developing and implementing operational plans and analyzing financial data.
  • Knowledge of physician compensation plans and contracting arrangements.
  • Demonstrated success in healthcare operations management.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide actionable feedback.
  • Effective communication skills to articulate operational perspectives.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with physicians.
  • Creative and innovative problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated experience in departmental management.
  • Strong leadership skills to foster productive teams.
  • Interpersonal skills to communicate diplomatically at all management levels.
