The Chief Radiology Officer is accountable 24/7 for the effective operation of the radiology department, playing a pivotal leadership role that supports the organization's mission, vision, and goals. This includes a focus on serving patients, physicians, employees, volunteers, and the broader community.


Continuous assessment and enhancement of departmental services and care standards are key responsibilities, ensuring integration with the hospital's primary functions.

In smaller facilities, this role may encompass additional departmental responsibilities. Duties include approving timekeeping, conducting employee evaluations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, authorizing supply orders, and participating in strategic planning for the department.

Qualifications

Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Independent decision-making skills are essential in a variety of situations.

A high degree of accuracy is required in performing diverse responsibilities.

Proficiency in personal computer skills is necessary.

Frequent interaction with employees, physicians, customers, community members, and volunteers is expected.

Self-motivation is crucial for timely completion of tasks.

A Bachelor’s degree in Science or a related Health Profession is required.

Experience

7 to 10 years of relevant experience is preferred.

Compensation

Base Salary - USD $105,000 to $164,000
