Job Overview

Client Service Technician - Help Desk Support

S2Technologies is actively seeking individuals with expertise in help desk support. As a Client Service Technician/Help Desk Specialist, you will deliver comprehensive end-user, system, and network assistance. This role encompasses both hands-on and remote support for end-user devices, firmware, and software across various network environments, including both classified and unclassified systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Helpdesk Support.
  • Fundamental knowledge of networking principles, including OSI model concepts, along with proficiency in Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience in the installation, configuration, management, maintenance, and troubleshooting of end-user and shared devices.
  • Familiarity with various devices such as desktop computers, laptops, tablets, smartphones, VoIP systems, and printers.
  • Understanding of firmware, software, and network logical structures.
  • Management of computer accounts, user accounts, email accounts, and shared network resources.
  • Adherence to the organization's Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and site-specific policies.
  • Accurate documentation of customer interactions via the Ticketing system, including detailed issue reporting and ticket updates until resolution.
  • Monitoring network performance and functionality using diagnostic tools and creating trouble tickets for observed issues.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with diverse teams and extract necessary information to identify root causes of issues.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree preferred.

Certifications:

  • IAT Level II certification required.

Security Clearance:

  • Secret Clearance is mandatory.
