Client Service Technician - Help Desk Support

S2Technologies is actively seeking individuals with experience in help desk support. As a Client Service Technician/Help Desk Specialist, you will deliver comprehensive end-user, system, and network assistance. This role entails both hands-on and remote support for end-user devices, firmware, and software across various network environments, including both classified and unclassified systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in Helpdesk Support.
  • Demonstrate a foundational understanding of networking principles, including OSI model concepts, and familiarity with Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Manage the receipt, installation, configuration, connection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and removal of approved end-user and shared devices.
  • Work with a variety of devices, including desktop computers, laptops, tablets, smartphones, VoIP systems, and printers.
  • Handle firmware and software updates, as well as local and network logical structures.
  • Oversee computer accounts, user accounts, group accounts, and email accounts, ensuring proper management of shared network resources.
  • Adhere to the organization's Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and comply with all site-specific policies.
  • Document all customer interactions through the Ticketing system, providing detailed reports of issues and updates throughout the resolution process.
  • Monitor network performance and functionality using diagnostic tools and create trouble tickets for any observed issues.
  • Exhibit the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively communicate with diverse teams to identify and resolve issues.

Education Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree preferred.

Certifications:

  • IAT Level II certification required.

Security Clearance:

  • Secret Clearance is mandatory.
