Job Overview:

We seek a highly energetic and driven Account Executive in Greenville, South Carolina to capitalize on the tremendous potential in the growing market. This candidate will be responsible for generating maximum sales profitability, growth, and account penetration within the multi-family/apartment market by effectively selling flooring products and installation services.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate maximum sales profitability, growth, and account penetration within the multi-family/apartment market.
  • Sustain a pipeline of new business through creative prospecting.
  • Demonstrate products and services to existing/potential customers and assist them in selecting those best suited to their needs.
  • Provide all necessary information for each new account/customer.
  • Provide floor plans and pricing for all accounts/customers via customer templates.
  • Promptly address customer complaints and problems.
  • Set and achieve monthly and quarterly goals.
  • Perform random job site inspections and report results to the Operations department.
  • Maintain an organized sample/showroom and sales office.
  • Report to management any information pertinent to competitive pricing and/or changes in the marketplace.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2+ years prior outside sales experience and a strong hunter mentality.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is not required but is a plus.
  • Prior prospecting experience and success in generating new accounts/closing new business.
  • Strong prioritization, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to use various remote tools to conduct business.
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Gmail, Google Docs, and/or Google Sheets.
  • Flooring product and/or industry knowledge preferred.
  • Clean driving record, own reliable transportation, and ability to travel daily to various customer sites within the assigned territory.
