  • Provide sales consultation, design, support, and management of customer activity involving collaboration, enterprise networking, data solutions, and security products and services.
  • Establish, maintain, and develop business with customers and potential customers in assigned business sectors to enhance the potential for meeting objectives of maximum profitability and growth.
  • Analyze customer/competition situations, customer's business issues and interests, and generate a strategy that achieves business objectives.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasting capability and an active reporting procedure in accordance with ConvergeOne's standards.
  • Develop, implement, and execute a Business Plan that is consistent with short-range and long-range company objectives and assigned targets.
  • Conduct C-level business discussions.
  • Develop and maintain technical competency in all products offered, including solutions from represented manufacturers and professional services offered by ConvergeOne.
  • Develop relationships with existing and potential customers that enable business growth to achieve assigned targets.
  • Expedites the resolution of customer escalations/complaints.
  • Stays well-informed on industry changes, participates in organizations directly involved with ConvergeOne's prime markets, and continually works to improve sales techniques and sales knowledge.
  • Fosters strong working relationships with supporting teams, such as sales support, marketing, services, purchasing/inventory, to reach assigned targets.
  • Keeps advised on company policies, procedures, and objectives, clarifying them with manager when and if questions arise, and is always prepared to accurately discuss these policies with customers.
  • Engages and manages an end-to-end sales cycle, working with multiple cross-functional teams.
  • Sells with a heavy emphasis on solutions offered by ConvergeOne that are consistent with assigned targets.
  • Consults innovatively to offer customer solutions with technical acumen.
  • Facilitates new solutions to customers by being a disrupter, able to go wider in existing accounts, innovative, and able to make customers look at solutions in a new way.
  • Understands and identifies customer needs and is a vertical expert, such as Public Sector, Healthcare, etc.
  • Identifies key pain points within customer bases and knows how to solve them (overcome objections).
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of direct selling experience in communications and data technology.
  • 4-year college degree in Business or equivalent in experience.
  • Ability to call on and work directly with C-level executives in mid to large enterprises to close business opportunities.
  • Strong presentation, verbal, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrates sales ability and technical aptitude.
  • Proven track record of territory development, including new business accounts.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, sales forecasting tools.
  • Brings existing contacts/customer relationships to ConvergeOne.
  • Experience with solution selling with a heavy emphasis on Cloud solutions, associated MS and PS services, and other solutions offered by ConvergeOne.
  • Has been recognized by prior companies as a top producer (e.g., President's Club, etc.).
