Job Summary

Mercy Housing is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Development team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful planning and execution of housing projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with various departments to determine project feasibility, ensure regulatory compliance, and facilitate a successful transition from development to operations.
  • Manage resident relocation plans, community engagement, and the activities of the Development team, including architects and contractors.
  • Assist in securing local approvals and neighborhood acceptance of proposed housing projects, including submitting land use applications, attending hearings and neighborhood meetings.
  • Coordinate the activity of architects, contractors, and other members of the Development team, providing updates to the Project Developers.
  • Prepare detailed project financial analysis, narratives, and applications/proposals for funding.
  • Submit funding applications in accordance with all requirements of the funder.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Planning, or a related field.
  • Three (3) years of experience in related work.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional Certifications.
  • Experience in affordable housing.

Skills and Abilities

  • Detail-oriented, especially in creation and analysis of financial spreadsheets.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, verbally and written communication.
  • Computer proficiency level in Microsoft Office Suite software.
