Role Summary:

The Project Management Office (PMO) Coordinator plays a crucial role in assisting project managers and teams by providing essential frameworks, tools, and direct support to effectively manage the project lifecycle. By maintaining project documentation, tracking schedules, and facilitating communication among stakeholders, the PMO Coordinator ensures timely and budget-compliant project completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development and execution of project management methodologies, standards, and tools to promote uniform project delivery across the organization.
  • Coordinate project scheduling, resource allocation, and budgeting within the PMO portfolio to enhance delivery timelines and project outcomes.
  • Monitor project advancement against established milestones, deliverables, and budgetary limits, escalating issues to project managers and stakeholders as required.
  • Maintain thorough project documentation, including plans, status reports, and risk management strategies, ensuring all project information is accurately recorded and easily accessible.
  • Organize and lead project status meetings and stakeholder communications, keeping all relevant parties informed of project developments and decisions.
  • Analyze project performance metrics to identify trends, efficiencies, and opportunities for improvement in project execution and management practices.
  • Provide guidance to project managers and teams on PMO processes, tools, and best practices to enhance project results.
  • Oversee the PMO's knowledge management initiatives, including the creation and upkeep of a project repository to capture and disseminate lessons learned and best practices across projects.
  • Required Experience: 2-5 years in a Project Management or PMO Coordinator role.
