Job Description

Amazon is seeking a highly experienced Technical Program Manager to lead the development of our next-generation cloud servers. As a key member of our AWS Hardware Engineering team, you will be responsible for defining and building the next generation of our cloud servers, working closely with internal customers, external vendors, and technology partners.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program management, with experience in managing large, complex technology initiatives, delivering critical solutions, and driving process improvements. You will be responsible for working closely with customers to understand their short and long-term business goals and product needs, and for driving and coordinating the efforts of an interdisciplinary team across hardware design, component development, firmware, test, and qualification.

You will also be responsible for understanding the architecture of the systems you work with, influencing team technical priorities and business strategy through data-driven contributions, and communicating ideas effectively to a wide range of audiences. Additionally, you will be responsible for defining clear goals and objectives, driving crisp decisions, and proactively identifying risks and bringing them to the attention of your team and stakeholders.

This is a fast-paced, challenging position that requires a strong passion for innovation and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. If you are a motivated and experienced program manager looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply.

About the Team

AWS Outposts is an on-premises version of AWS public cloud. We are a start-up-like team within a big enterprise, allowing us to take risks and experiment, and providing a unique opportunity to be part of the product's growth story.

We are a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. We work closely with customers, stakeholders, and engineering teams to deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers.

We value diversity, equity, and inclusion, and we are committed to creating a workplace that is welcoming and inclusive for all employees. We believe that our differences are our strength, and we strive to create a culture that is free from bias and discrimination.

What You Will Do

As a TPM on the Edge Hardware Engineering team, you will be responsible for leading AWS Outpost fleet operations and hardware product development programs in a highly cross-functional environment. You will provide leadership in the application of new technologies to large-scale server deployments, and you will work closely with customers, stakeholders, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality results.

You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from defining and building new cloud servers to driving process improvements and influencing team technical priorities and business strategy. You will also have the opportunity to work with a diverse team of experts, including software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles.

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced program manager who is passionate about innovation and committed to delivering high-quality results. If you are a motivated and experienced program manager looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply.
