Position Overview


As a Senior Coffee Shop Supervisor, you elevate the customer experience by sharing your enthusiasm and dedication for the café with every interaction.

In your role as a key support to the café manager, you mentor, motivate, and foster an environment where baristas can thrive and enhance their skills.

Your commitment to guiding the team and coaching others to meet our service expectations plays a vital role in achieving sales targets and operational efficiencies.

Collaborating closely with the café manager, you will strategize and assess the team's performance to ensure the delivery of top-notch beverages and food offerings that create unforgettable customer experiences.

Your focus will be on instilling the importance of prioritizing customer satisfaction above all else within the café team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Exemplify the café customer experience by providing consistent, friendly, and personalized service, setting a standard through your actions and the training you offer to baristas on delivering exceptional service.
  • Maintain a lively café atmosphere that welcomes all patrons, ensuring a well-stocked pastry display, neatly arranged merchandise, and a team that greets every customer with warmth.
  • Gain insights into customer preferences and offer recommendations to enhance café operations and service delivery.
  • Drive positive sales outcomes through efficient inventory management and a solid understanding of operational connections to financial performance.
  • Guide and mentor fellow baristas, collaborating with the café manager to identify growth opportunities and illustrate the link between performance and service quality.
  • Address challenges effectively while supporting others by helping to eliminate barriers.
  • Engage customers within the café by leveraging sales initiatives such as product sampling, promotional activities, and the café's mobile application.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with all visual merchandising standards in partnership with the café manager.
  • Guarantee the timely execution of all operational protocols in alignment with café standards, safety regulations, and health codes.
  • Safeguard company assets by accurately implementing all loss prevention measures.
  • Foster collaborative communication with your team, upholding company values through fair and consistent feedback and respectful accountability.
  • Participate actively in café operations, which includes physical tasks such as prolonged standing, repetitive bending, lifting, climbing, and operating espresso machines as needed.
