Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cafe Operations Manager to join our team at Reef Capital Partners. As a Cafe Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our cafe, including managing staff, maintaining high standards of customer service, and ensuring the smooth operation of our coffee shop.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Day-to-Day Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the cafe, including managing staff, maintaining inventory, and ensuring the cafe is clean and well-maintained.
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, hire, and train new staff members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent customer service.
  • Coordinate with Vendors: Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure the cafe has a consistent supply of high-quality coffee, milk, and other ingredients.
  • Monitor Finances: Maintain accurate records of daily, weekly, and monthly revenues and expenses to ensure the cafe is operating within budget.
  • Develop New Menu Items: Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items that meet customer demand and preferences.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Ensure that all customers receive excellent service, including responding to customer complaints and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a Clean and Safe Environment: Ensure that the cafe is clean, safe, and well-maintained at all times.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 Years Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience working in a cafe or coffee shop environment, with a minimum of 1 year in a supervisory or management role.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Knowledge of Coffee and Espresso: In-depth knowledge of coffee and espresso, including brewing methods and equipment.
  • High School Diploma: High school diploma or equivalent required.
