Job Title: HR Manager

Vishay Intertechnology Inc. is a leading manufacturer of discrete semiconductors and passive electronic components. We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our team in Columbus, NE.

Job Summary:

The HR Manager will be responsible for providing strategic HR support to the Dale operation, including talent acquisition, employee relations, organizational design, performance management, and organizational change. The successful candidate will have a strong analytical and communication skillset, with experience working with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with business leaders to oversee and execute key talent management processes, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, onboarding, talent development, promotions, change leadership, and organizational design and development.
  • Develop and lead the part-time HR assistant, providing clear expectations, strategy, and key performance metrics.
  • Take a hands-on approach with leaders to drive business results, improve working relationships, strengthen morale, and increase productivity and employee engagement.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, influencing business decisions and results.
  • Partner with key members of the HR team to analyze trends and metrics, informing meaningful program and policy decisions.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
  • Maintain knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of associates, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to managers, including coaching, counseling, career development, and corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with other HR team members to manage projects or provide input on HR-related programs and practices.
  • Act as a neutral party, providing a balanced perspective for both employees and leaders.
  • Oversee and assist with day-to-day tactical execution, including recruiting, benefits, employee relations and engagement, health/safety, employee training, company events, and policy/procedure communication.
Requirements:
  • BS or AA Degree in Human Resources or Business Management.
  • 3 years related experience in Human Resources.
  • Solid analytical and communication skills.
  • Proficient utilizing Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience working with HRIS systems (Workday) is beneficial.
  • Must have a positive attitude and be a team player.
