Position Objective:
The primary goal of this role is to maintain and expand our existing customer base while actively seeking new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving growth, introducing new products, and offering value-added services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage directly with customers to manage sales inquiries, existing orders, and follow-up activities.
  • Conduct meetings with clients to present new products and solutions.
  • Perform audits and assessments of customer systems to provide tailored recommendations and quotes.
  • Facilitate customer interactions through visits, webinars, and virtual meetings.
  • Analyze sales data using QlikView to compare performance against targets.
  • Utilize Salesforce for managing customer accounts, updating contracts, and tracking sales activities.
  • Collaborate with the Clean Air Center to identify and communicate customer solutions.
  • Work alongside Application Engineers to ensure the correct products are delivered to end users.
  • Coordinate with Customer Service on quotes, orders, and lead time updates.
  • Engage with the Operations Manager regarding inventory and service opportunities.
  • Assist the Credit Department in resolving credit holds on orders.
  • Set up pricing structures in Salesforce in collaboration with the Costing Department.
  • Maintain communication with the National Sales team regarding pricing and customer updates.
  • Participate in post-sales activities to resolve discrepancies in customer orders.
  • Review Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure sales goals are met.
  • Complete assigned training and submit expense reports in a timely manner.
  • Document travel mileage as required.
  • Research and analyze dormant accounts and historical purchases.
  • Attend regional sales meetings to stay aligned with team objectives.
  • Build a professional network through industry associations and social media.
  • Participate in trade shows at local, regional, and national levels.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with SAP and/or Salesforce is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of high-value product sales, pricing strategies, and negotiation techniques.
  • Familiarity with channel management and distribution models.
  • Experience selling to mechanical contractors, facility managers, and C-level executives is advantageous.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to diverse teams.
  • Proven track record of achieving growth and profitability targets.
  • Team-oriented with strong influencing skills.
  • Self-motivated with a creative approach to marketing and promotional strategies.
  • Experience in air filter sales is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • 1-2 years of B2B sales experience in Life Science, Chemical, Microelectronics, or Data Center industries is preferred.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to navigate commercial rooftops and climb ladders.
  • Must be able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally.
  • Visual acuity for close and distance vision is necessary.
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, and sit, with occasional use of hands for various tasks.
