Healthcare Billing Specialist Job Description
LabCorp is seeking an entry-level Healthcare Billing Specialist to join our team. As a Healthcare Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for processing and managing healthcare claims, ensuring accurate and timely billing activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and manage healthcare claims, ensuring accurate and timely billing activities
- Research and update billing demographic data to ensure prompt payment from insurance
- Communicate with clients and patients to resolve billing defects
- Ensure billing transactions are processed in a timely fashion
Requirements:
- Minimum 1+ years previous work experience required
- Specific work in medical billing, AR/AP, Claims/Insurance will be given priority
- Previous RCM work experience preferred
