Overview

The Senior Healthcare Account Executive plays a pivotal role in fostering and nurturing relationships with both new and existing clients or partners, aiming to consistently achieve or surpass designated sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate a detailed sales strategy to meet or exceed targets, focusing on identifying and prioritizing opportunities within high-risk, high-impact existing or prospective clients or partners.
  • Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts, ensuring real-time communication of progress.
  • Act as a trusted consultant to clients or potential clients; cultivate and sustain strategic relationships with senior leadership, including executives. Utilize long-term vision and strategic roadmaps to maintain a robust sales pipeline.
  • Utilize expertise and extensive best practice knowledge to inform clients about the advantages of the company's solutions; stimulate client needs and create new opportunities.
  • Collaborate with sales solution engineers to create compelling software demonstrations for clients or potential clients; actively engage in the demonstration process.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of all client account details in the CRM, including opportunities, commitments, significant discussions, client visits, or sales interactions.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of best practices and market trends, proactively educating and influencing key executives on future business and technical requirements; seek opportunities for company growth and integration.
  • Engage company specialists and support resources as necessary to advance sales opportunities.
  • Assess the feasibility of Request for Proposal (RFP) submissions and directly influence the appropriate development of responses.
  • Build and maintain strategic internal relationships to enhance sales effectiveness.
  • Participate actively in trade shows to ensure client engagement in company marketing initiatives; customize plans to align with client needs.
  • Develop and implement closing strategies for accounts with key influencers; lead negotiation and contracting processes to ensure timely deal closures as projected.
  • Serve as an innovative thought leader within the team; contribute to the overall growth and quality of sales processes.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for the sales department and colleagues; provide insights on market trends and best practices.
  • Mentor and coach fellow sales team members.
  • Adhere to all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices, including but not limited to, Hyland's Information Systems Security Policy.

Qualifications for Success

  • Experience with ERP or EMR solutions.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Extensive experience as an Account Manager in a complex business environment.
  • In-depth knowledge and expertise in sales or relevant industry or technology solutions.
  • Proficient in opportunity management and account planning tools.
  • Competent in Microsoft Windows and Office applications.
  • Proven track record of year-over-year sales success.
  • Exceptional ability to build rapport and gain trust.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, demonstrating professionalism and the ability to interact with discretion.
  • Highly organized with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Self-motivated, capable of managing work independently to completion.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, effectively applied within teams and across departments.
  • Skilled at achieving consensus among various departments and leadership levels.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing abilities.
  • Alternatively, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the principal duties of the role.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Salary range: $137,000-$194,000, with eligibility for bonuses and benefits.
