Job Title: Senior HR Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior HR Manager to join our team at Grange Insurance Association. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and operational support to staff and management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of the HR function, including development and coaching of the HR team.
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies and oversee recruitment activity.
  • Evaluate and maintain high-quality orientation, onboarding, and retention programs.
  • Lead benefit administration and coordination across GIA.
  • Manage annual performance reviews, individual development plans, check-ins, and salary budget processes.
  • Lead and maintain the integrity of compensation practices to ensure salaries and ranges are internally equitable and externally competitive.
  • Ensure compliance with all Federal and State regulations and all other regulatory requirements as needed.
  • Manage all aspects of the payroll process.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Human Resources Management, or related field and a minimum of 8+ years' experience; experience may substitute for education.
  • Minimum of 3 years of Talent Acquisition experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years in compensation strategy and execution.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in benefit planning and administration.
  • Advanced experience in developing talent and/or Performance Management systems.
  • Experience in leading learning and development strategies and programs.
  • Expert experience in using ADP systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, including comfort in consolidating data, V-lookups, formula creation, and pivot tables.
  • Proficient with MS office applications.
  • Must be self-managed, able to work independently and well within a team to meet established deadlines.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Thorough knowledge of applicable HR laws.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Deals with confidential information and/or issues using discretion and judgment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and demonstrate good judgment in resolving issues.
