Job Overview

Primary Objective

The Recruitment Coordinator will report directly to the Corporate Recruiting Manager. This entry-level position is responsible for sourcing, identifying, and assessing qualified candidates for non-exempt roles, while facilitating their progression through the hiring process. The Coordinator will also undertake administrative tasks and assist with departmental projects to support the Corporate Recruiter and HR Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prioritize Health & Safety by adhering to policies and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment at all times.
  • Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle for non-exempt positions, fostering strong relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and business partners.
  • Comprehend the requirements of hiring managers and translate those needs into effective recruitment strategies, maintaining clear communication throughout the process.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to provide training on the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and develop comprehensive, engaging job descriptions.
  • Oversee the hiring process; keep hiring managers informed about requisition statuses, offer guidance throughout the hiring journey, and ensure timely closure of requisitions with appropriate documentation.
  • Create, modify, publish, and manage job postings on both internal and external platforms, ensuring compliance with position requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain data integrity within the applicant tracking system and other HR platforms, ensuring compliance with federal employment laws and internal policies.
  • Stay informed about business and market trends to maintain talent pipelines that align with anticipated demand, in line with corporate growth and strategic initiatives.
  • Support recruitment efforts through social media and networking, effectively communicating the opportunities for growth and the culture of the organization.
  • Identify, initiate contact with, and screen potential candidates to present current and future job opportunities, reviewing resumes for alignment with position requirements.
  • Assess candidates to evaluate their skills and qualifications, providing feedback on their fit within the company culture.
  • Guide active candidates throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a positive experience through effective communication.
  • Coordinate all logistics for interviews between candidates and hiring teams, managing schedules and arrangements.
  • Participate in local and national career fairs and professional events, as well as on-campus recruitment initiatives.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred.

Experience: At least 1 year of relevant experience in staffing or a related area, with a solid understanding of recruitment processes and workflows. Familiarity with affirmative action documentation and data reporting is preferred. Experience with applicant tracking systems and recruitment sourcing tools is essential.

Skills and Competencies: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-facility environment with a strong sense of urgency. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, along with the ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers. Attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and a strong interest in a career in recruiting are essential. Must demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and confidentiality. Some travel may be required. Regular and predictable attendance is a key function of this role.
