Service Manager

As a key member of our team, the Service Manager will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our valued customers. This individual will lead and manage our team of skilled service technicians to optimize service operations, ensuring profitability and growth. The Service Manager will be responsible for training and developing service technicians to unleash their full potential and become true HVAC experts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Optimize service operations to ensure profitability and growth.
  • Train and develop service technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with the Office Manager to streamline service scheduling and dispatch the right technicians.
  • Meticulously review invoices to ensure accuracy and identify any anomalies.
  • Oversee payroll and monitor technician profitability.
  • Efficiently handle warranty and call back invoices, resolving any issues that arise.
  • Set service inventory policies to ensure our inventory is always stocked.
  • Generate revenue by securing work and building strong customer relationships.
  • Provide field support to technicians, offering assistance when needed.
  • Ensure service vehicles are clean, fully stocked, and ready for action.
  • Drive sales of maintenance contracts, offering customers the opportunity to maintain their HVAC systems.
  • Maintain an up-to-date and organized price book, ensuring our pricing is clear and competitive.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive training programs for technicians.
  • Implement effective processes and procedures to streamline operations and ensure efficiency.
  • Foster a positive team environment through inspiring leadership.
Requirements:
  • Exceptional organizational skills, allowing for effective task management.
  • Proficient in basic computer skills and Microsoft Excel/Word.
  • Familiarity with data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, building rapport with the team and customers.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude, bringing energy and optimism to the team.
  • Prior managerial experience, showcasing leadership abilities.
