Role Summary
This role is responsible for overseeing the daily functions of the designated department. Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating ongoing training and educational initiatives for staff.
- Monitoring quality assurance and safety protocols.

It is important to note that this position does not involve direct patient care. The focus is on supporting the operational environment of the facility, including materials management and maintaining overall facility conditions.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily departmental operations, including staff recruitment, training, and scheduling.
- Ensure adherence to departmental policies and procedures, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Evaluate employee performance to maintain high standards of service.
- Address issues, provide support, and facilitate services across hospital departments.
- Conduct safety inspections and quality assurance assessments.
- Maintain accurate departmental records and prepare monthly performance reports.
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Participate in relevant committees and meetings.
- Assist in budget planning as required.
Qualifications
Required:
- Associate's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a related area.
Preferred:
- One year of supervisory experience.
Working Conditions
This position may require physical activity, including lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds, and may involve extended periods of standing or walking.
