Job Description

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fintech Sales Executive to join our team. As a founding account executive, you will have the opportunity to do 0-1 sales, manage fintech deals, refine our playbook, and work closely with the product and engineering teams to ensure we're meeting the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own fintech sales cycle from prospecting to close, managing a full pipeline of warm intros and inbound leads.
  • Collaborate closely with founders to refine startup and mid-market strategy, identify target customers, generate sales collateral and resources, and improve sales processes.
  • Build and maintain relationships with distribution partners and resellers focused on mid-market customers.
  • Meet and exceed quarterly sales targets.
  • Understand customer needs and requirements, and bring feedback to internal teams to help inform roadmap and priorities.
Requirements
  • B2B fintech sales experience (4+ years, with at least 3 as a quota-carrying AE and a track record of over-performance).
  • Experience as an early sales hire in a startup.
  • Experience working creatively to source and engage with potential customers.
  • Ability to own and drive a deal from prospecting to close and beyond (including cross-sell, up-sell, and renewals).
  • Deep fintech knowledge and network.
  • Comfort with technical products (preference for experience with usage-based APIs).
  • Preference for living in NYC or SF.
