About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our AWS team, focusing on Fintech startups in North America. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive business growth and partnerships with Fintech companies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to drive growth and partnerships with Fintech companies
  • Build and maintain relationships with Fintech founders, CxOs, and other key stakeholders
  • Identify and capitalize on business opportunities with Fintech companies
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product management, to drive business growth and partnerships
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in Fintech and cloud computing
Requirements
  • 15+ years of business experience in financial services, including business development, strategy, or sales responsibilities
  • Proven ability to build trust and manage relationships with C-level leadership of startups, managing directors of investor organizations, and other key influencers in the startup ecosystem
  • Knowledge of core cloud computing concepts as they relate to Fintech, including compute, storage, databases, and machine learning
  • Ability to execute as an individual contributor in the face of ambiguity, shifting priorities, and limited resources
  • Experience working effectively and cross-functionally within a large organization
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience as a founder or executive focused on related segments, or as a practice leader or business unit owner
  • MBA or equivalent, ideally with a focus on finance
  • Speaking engagements at Fintech conferences and industry events
  • AWS SA Associate or equivalent certification
  • SQL, analytics, and visualization experience
