Position Summary

We are currently seeking a full-time Compliance Risk Analyst to join our Privacy and Compliance team. This role focuses on governance, risk, and compliance (GRC), where you will begin to develop expertise within Vertafore's Privacy and Compliance framework, emphasizing compliance and risk management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with management and business leaders to implement the Privacy and Compliance strategy.
  • Monitor and address inquiries from current and prospective clients.
  • Facilitate organizational changes to enhance compliance.
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand their business requirements and provide expert guidance.
  • Conduct vendor reviews and make recommendations for Third Party Risk Management.
  • Perform OFAC Denied Parties Screening and maintain documentation for adjudication.
  • Document responses to incidents effectively.
  • Support Privacy and Compliance initiatives to improve Vertafore's operations.
  • Create materials for sales and external functions.
Qualifications

  • Outgoing personality with a focus on customer service.
  • Self-managed with minimal oversight required.
  • Familiarity with federal and state data protection regulations is preferred.
  • Understanding of risk assessment methodologies and mitigation strategies using industry standards.

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Ideal candidates will have 0 to 3 years of relevant experience in information security and communications.

Additional Information
  • Travel may be required up to 10% of the time.
  • Remote work capability with a reliable internet connection as needed.
  • Occasional lifting and moving of up to 10 pounds may be necessary.
  • Frequent hand and arm movements required for computer operation.
  • Specific vision abilities needed for close work.
  • Regular sitting and/or standing is expected.
