Job Overview

Salary: $45,000 - $50,000 + VIP Bonus

Company: Vertafore, a leader in technology solutions for the insurance sector, is on the lookout for a dedicated Compliance Analyst. This role is pivotal in enhancing our governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) initiatives within the Privacy and Compliance team.

Key Responsibilities

As a Compliance Analyst, you will:

  • Collaborate with management and business leaders to implement the Privacy and Compliance strategy.
  • Assess and manage requests from current and potential clients.
  • Drive organizational changes to improve compliance and risk management.
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand their operational needs and provide expert guidance.
  • Conduct Third Party Risk Management vendor evaluations and provide recommendations.
  • Perform OFAC Denied Parties Screening and maintain documentation for adjudication.
  • Document responses to incidents and assist in Privacy and Compliance projects to strengthen Vertafore.
  • Create materials for sales and external communications.

  • Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and mitigation strategies (e.g., COBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001:2013).
Educational Background

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required, along with 0 to 3 years of relevant experience in information security and communications.

Additional Information

This position may require occasional travel (up to 10%) and the ability to work remotely as needed. Candidates should be prepared for tasks that may involve lifting or moving up to 10 pounds and frequent computer use.
