This is achieved efficiently while adhering to all applicable regulations and guidelines. The Manager of International Tax will oversee U.S. international tax compliance, provision, and strategic planning.
This position leads the international tax compliance and provision team, which includes two U.S.-based internal staff members and a network of external service providers.
The role acts as a primary liaison with the Vice President of Global Tax and non-tax business leaders concerning global international tax matters.
As a vital member of the finance leadership team, this role contributes to the strategic vision while identifying, assessing, and addressing significant business risks, risk drivers, and relevant governance processes.
This position reports directly to the Director of International Tax and Compliance & Integration.
Key Responsibilities- Manage U.S. compliance and provision efforts, including tax reporting for over 175 non-U.S. subsidiaries.
- Oversee quarterly and annual accounting for income taxes (ASC 740) related to all U.S. international tax matters, including GILTI, FDII, Subpart F, and Foreign Tax Credits.
- Conduct annual FIN48 analysis on international tax issues.
- Develop and implement reporting infrastructure and strategy for Pillar 2.
- Evaluate and utilize external resources effectively.
Assist in the execution of global tax planning strategies, which include:
- Evaluation and restructuring of global holding jurisdictions.
- Management of global intercompany debt profiles.
- Cross-border transactional tax planning.
- Legal entity restructuring projects.
Engage in special projects such as process development, systems implementations, automation of tax processes, coordination with business units, and addressing various tax technical issues.
Provide support, review, and oversight during global tax audits.
Participate in acquisition and disposition projects to assess potential tax exposures and structures for proposed transactions.
Monitor global income tax legislation and provide guidance to the tax team as necessary.
Manage and develop direct reports while fostering skill development within the tax team.
Collaborate with the Vice President of Global Tax and the business to ensure the effective execution of international tax strategies.

QualificationsA Bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for Law or Accounting.
A Master's Degree or certification (JD/CPA) is preferred.
5+ years of corporate tax experience in the international tax domain, with a preference for experience in a Big-4 firm or with a U.S.-based multinational.
1+ years of supervisory management experience.
Experience with CorpTax software is preferred.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
Must possess a comprehensive understanding of U.S. international tax compliance and provision requirements.
Exceptional business communication skills with the ability to convey tax issues effectively to non-tax personnel.
Proven track record of managing a team effectively, demonstrating strong consensus-building and teamwork skills.
