About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Strategy Director to join our team at Schneider Electric. As a key member of our Global Supply Chain organization, you will play a critical role in driving our industrial strategy and implementing long-term plans to optimize our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Industrial Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive industrial strategy for our business unit, aligning with our global supply chain and local business objectives.
  • Long-Term Industrial Planning: Drive the preparation of long-term industrial plans at the plant level, providing strategic inputs and project management expertise.
  • Rebalancing and Localization: Identify opportunities to rebalance our supply chain, localize production, and transfer manufacturing to new regions, ensuring alignment with our global strategy and local considerations.
  • Project Management: Lead the execution of transfer, rebalancing, and other industrial projects, ensuring efficient execution within quality, lead time, and cost constraints.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Assemble high-performing project teams, mentor and coach talent, and foster a culture of high performance, speed, transparency, and trust.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in Engineering or Supply Chain.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in a Supply Chain environment of a multinational corporation.
  • Deep understanding of manufacturing and project management.
  • Clear understanding of the SE Industrial policies and practices.
  • Strong experience in Supply Chain management of technical commodities.
  • Experience in driving strong and successful execution of projects.
