Job Summary

ABM Industries is seeking a seasoned Facilities Engineering Sales Specialist to join our team as a Regional Engineering Business Development Manager. This role will act as the engineering subject matter expert to develop new client relationships in need of Engineering Facility Services in the Atlanta Territory.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Facilities Engineer with a proven track record in business development and a desire for a better work-life balance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing and maintaining strategic relationships, and driving sales growth in the facilities engineering industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the facilities engineering industry
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with clients and partners
  • Drive sales growth through effective business development and sales strategies
  • Collaborate with engineering operations teams to leverage current business and gain insight into potential strategies
  • Develop and execute short and long-term sales plans
  • Utilize ABM-branded marketing materials to create detailed, customized, and innovative proposals
  • Collaborate with operations for strategic and financial planning and execution
  • Assist in contract negotiation and manage the transition to operations

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Engineering Operations or Business Development in the facilities engineering field
  • Aptitude and experience with facility engineering solutions sales
  • Facility services, commercial real estate, or other related field experience
  • Relevant and immediate sales contacts
  • Work well under pressure to meet established goals and deadlines
  • Salesforce or other CRM and Microsoft Office experience
