Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Project Manager to join our Power Engineering team at Kiewit Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing internal project design teams, ensuring contractual obligations are met, and facilitating effective communication between design and construction project leadership.

Responsibilities
  • Manage internal project design teams to ensure project goals are met
  • Ensure contractual obligations are met and design requirements are fulfilled
  • Facilitate effective communication between design and construction project leadership
  • Communicate project design and performance status with clients and permitting agencies
  • Coordinate technical details across multiple engineering disciplines
  • Support business development activities, including RFP reviews and proposals
  • Resolve conflicts through partnering with design teams, clients, and construction
  • Support construction priorities and ensure their implementation through design
  • Plan and communicate needs for Kiewit Engineering resources to support projects
  • Manage and interpret data and results for multiple projects
  • Meet project engineering schedules and budgets
  • Identify current and future risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Consolidate best practices from project execution
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
  • Minimum 7 years of project management experience
  • Ability to mentor technical staff and foster a team environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to recognize discrepancies
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to do what it takes to get the job done
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
